The President of the Republic, Nicolas Maduro, on Tuesday approved the permanent and constitutive character of the Congress of the Homeland, Chapter Local Committees of Supply and Production (CLAP).
The proposal was made by the Chief of the Major Staff of this organization, Freddy Bernal, while participating in the program “Contacto con Maduro” “Contact with Maduro” number 69, broadcast from the Mountain Headquarters.
“The idea of this instance is that the CLAP will be strengthened and become a dynamic mechanism to deal with attacks of the right wing in the economic and food sectors”, said Bernal.
The National Chief reported that for the people to know every day more about this work of popular organization, from this Sunday the magazine of the CLAPs will be distributed throughout the National territory, along with the newspapers Ultimas Noticias and Panorama, as well as also in other national newspapers such as Ciudad Caracas and Correo del Orinoco.
