ANC Truth Commission will be installed this Wednesday in the Bolivian Museum of Caracas

The Commission for Truth of the National Constituent Assembly (ANC) will be installed this Wednesday at 10 am at the headquarters of the Bolivian Museum of Caracas.

Likewise, have been convened to join the Commission the Constituent Deputies Delcy Rodríguez (president), Carmen Meléndez and José Vicente Rangél Ávalos, also the members of the organizations of victims and relatives Luis Duran, Haylin García, Edgar Márquez and María Eugenia Rusian; the members of the Latin American Foundation for Human Rights and Social Development (Fundalatin); Father José Numa Molina; Soraya El Achkar; The Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab; The Ombudsman in charge, Alfredo Ruiz. Also will be convened to the session 3 deputy men or women of the National Assembly (AN) designated by the opposition political block.

The Executive Secretariat of the Commission for Truth, Justice, Peace and Public Tranquility will be chaired by Larry Devoe.

This Commission will investigate the events of political violence happened between 2014 and 2017, with the aim of establishing justice for those responsible and reparation for the victims and their next of kin.
