For treason to the Homeland, the ANC raided parliamentary immunity to Rafael David Guzmán Reverón

For treason to the Homeland, the National Constituent Assembly (ANC) raided parliamentary immunity to Rafael David Guzmán Reverón, in accordance with the request of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), which includes his alleged responsibility in the crimes of conspiracy, usurpation of functions, association to commit crime, instigation to insurrection and public instigation to disobedience.
The Plenipotentiary Power emphasizes that the application in all its parts of article 200 of the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela was also approved, which states that deputies to the National Assembly will enjoy immunity in the exercise of their functions as long as they do not commit any kind of alleged crimes, in which case the Supreme Court of Justice will deal in a privative manner, the only authority that can order a detention and continue the prosecution:
“Public officials who violate the immunity of the members of the National Assembly will incur in criminal responsibility and will be punished in accordance with the law”, says the article.
In the document, the ANC urges that the Constitutional Decree be published in the Official Gazette of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and issued to the Supreme Court of Justice.
Rafael Guzmán is a member of the Finance and Economic Development Commission of the National Assembly in contempt, where he is responsible for overseeing business interests and driving the economic war imposed by the fascist right wing, says “Con El Mazo Dando” (Hitting with the hammer) on its web portal.
The ANC also recently approved the process of criminal investigation and raid of the parliamentary immunity of citizens José Guerra, Tomás Guanipa, Juan Pablo García, for being linked in crimes against the social, economic and political stability of Venezuela.
