Minister El Aissami presented advance lines to boost economic growth

The Sectoral Vice President for the Economic Area, Tareck El Aissami, presented this Wednesday to the constitutional President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, a set of lines of progress for real economic growth, which will impact on the increase in production and the national economy.

The proposals were presented during a work journey of Productive Wednesdays, held in the Ayacucho Hall of Miraflores Palace, in Caracas, in which more than 200 entrepreneurs from small and medium industry participated, as well as the Economic Cabinet.

He explained that the lines of progress for economic growth were defined on January 21 following the instructions of President Nicolás Maduro, by productive sectors and the economic team, managing to unify criteria to design a policy that impacts the national productive sector.

Aissami explained that these are six lines of work that include the National Centralized Public Procurement Plan, which allows all producers to plan production and guarantee the market, so that they can replenish inventories and raw materials, to grow in their capacity productive

In that sense, he proposed the transformation of Corpovex, which until now attended to foreign trade, by the National Commerce Corporation, to favor national trade and centralize State purchases that include large national institutions, such as PDVSA, Ministry of Basic Industries, among others.

“This measure would generate a real growth impact on the productive capacities of the business sector”, he said.

Another of the lines of progress is focused on the tax and tariff policy that will favor and protect national production. “Convert it into a dynamic permanent monitoring team that allows modifying and incorporating tariffs that are required to facilitate access to raw materials in a timely manner”.

Minister Tareck El Aissami proposed the creation of a Productive Credit Committee that impacts those companies that have planned the sale of products to the national sector, so that they have the capacity to replenish inventory and replenish raw materials.

“They will also benefit from the raw material that is generated in PDVSA, basic companies, Cement Corporation, among others, to supply the raw material for productive development”, he added.

Likewise, among the proposals he highlighted the impulse of the stock market and the use of convertible currencies, by the private national productive sector, that can go out to the stock market to offer and collect necessary credits for productive investment.

“We must incorporate Petro, as a new beginning to migrate the productive commercial sectors towards the sovereign crypto-asset, as a sovereign transaction currency”, he said.

Finally, they requested to reduce procedures in the national productive sector, especially regarding permits that become cumbersome obstacles and hinder the development and real productive growth.

“We have proposed in fifteen days to have a constitutional bill or regulation to impact the reduction of procedures, mechanisms that should favor the Venezuelan productive apparatus,” he added.
