The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, denounced that the President of the United States, Donald Trump, intends to impose on the European Union (EU) his extremist policies against Venezuela:
«The European oligarchies are carnal allies of American power, and Donald Trump has imposed his extremist policy against Venezuela on Europe, and unfortunately Europe is on its knees», said the Head of State in an interview with the «Conversando con Correa» (Talking with Correa) program.
He added that the continuous aggressions against the country are not against a man, but against a historical project like the Bolivarian Revolution:
«This is not a man’s problem, it is a matter of a historical project that exists», he said.
He stressed that in Venezuela «there is a people, a political force, there is a collective leadership, that whether Maduro is here or not, the Revolution will continue».
Regarding democracy, the national president recalled that in 20 years have been made 25 elections in Venezuela, and out of that number, the Bolivarian forces have won 23.
