Venezuela seeks a new consensus to establish a balanced oil barrel price


Delcy Rodríguez, Chancellor of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, said that “We are building a new consensus to establish a balanced price of oil, and thus to act in a coordinated and joint way”.
Thus she assured via Skype from Saudi Arabia, during a live pass made on the “Contacto con Maduro” (Contact with Maduro) program, broadcast this Tuesday.
From Yeda, she emphasized that “We come from Doha, and we will continue with the defense of our energy resources and the price of oil” adding that “there is a consciousness of that we need that equilibrium price, and that we must act in a coordinated way”.
She emphasized that in addition to the tour held with the Minister of People’s Power for Petroleum and also Chairman of Petroleos de Venezuela, Eulogio del Pino, have received calls from other non-oil producing countries “Who are lending their full support to this proposal.”
Finally, Rodriguez stressed that “soon we will give important announcements and will also review the commercial and financial agenda of bilateral cooperation with these brotehrly countries”, and added “We send a greeting and send the invitation for participation in the summit of non-aligned countries”.
