Venezuela and Russia strengthen bilateral cooperation


The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, and the president of the Russia-Venezuela High Level Intergovernmental Commission (CIAN), Yuri Ivánovich Borísov, held a work meeting in the city of Moscow, to strengthen the cooperation maintained in different areas by both nations since several years ago.
The Venezuelan Vice President traveled to the Eurasian country to strengthen the exchange of knowledge and consolidate the new strategies that point to the development of our country, as refers a note from the Vice Presidency of the Republic.
The conversations focused on aspects of the Bolivarian Economic Agenda, to boost the social programs, plans and projects of the Venezuelan people.
Thanks to the Head of State, Nicolás Maduro, the bilateral agreements have acquired a high geopolitical level to guarantee the best well-being for both States and to advance in the construction of a multipolar world.
Rodríguez was accompanied by the Minister of People’s Power for Economy and Finance, Simón Zerpa; the vice president of the Central Bank of Venezuela, Sohail Hernández; and the vice minister for Europe, Yván Gil.
The Government of the Russian Federation has ratified support for the Venezuelan people, before the interference and coercive actions of the United States (USA) to destabilize the nation.
In this sense was ratified the will to work with our country under the terms of respect for sovereignty.
In addition, Russia supports the efforts of the National Executive to implement an independent foreign policy and counteract the attempts of the US empire to violate national sovereignty.
