205 years after Venezuela is standing and will overcome interventionist pretensions

205 years after the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the President of the Republic, Nicolas Maduro, ratified that the Venezuelan people remains standing, firm and dignified in the struggle for sovereignty and the national development without international tutelage.
During the civic-military parade to commemorate this national holiday, held on Tuesday at the Paseo Los Proceres (Heroes’s Stroll) in Caracas, the National President stressed that today “when the foremen of the rapacious oligarchy of the National Assembly invoke interventionism, at this time when the foreign alleged guardians and masters, and alleged internal foremen and masters seek to dismember the most beautiful thing that has been built in 205 years, we have to say that Venezuela is standing, present, and Venezuela will overcome on this 2016, sooner than later it will come the final victory over the masters and foremen”.
He recalled that the signing of the Act of National Independence was written “with the sacred ink emanating from the Homeland passion of those who founded us.”
Unit Officers of the components of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) paraded along the Los Proceres stroll, besides representations of the social missions gestated in the 17 years of the Bolivarian Revolution. At the end of the parade, aircrafts of the Venezuelan Air Force crossed the sky and left a tricolor smoke trail.
After completing the parade, the Head of State praised the moral strength and high patriotic consciousness of the FANB. “Today we have a real Armed Force, full of moral, armed with morals, with ideas, with love. We have seen parading the soldier’s morale, we have seen the arms of the Republic in the safe hands of those who are the guardians and custodians of security, “he said.
He also stressed the importance of further increasing the military power in order to preserve the independence, “To protect the people and to protect the Homeland.”
In his words at the end of the parade, the President rejected the systematic moral attack against the soldiers of the FANB undertaken by the parliamentary right wing, headed by Deputy Henry Ramos. “Do not mess with the soldiers, do not mess with the Sergeants, do not mess with the Captains, get in with me, that I’m the commander in Chief of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (…) The FANB is to be respected, and I will make it be respected, no matter what they say in the world “.
