Began consultation on Convention of Boys, Girls and Adolescents

The Chancellor of the Republic, Jorge Arreaza, calls on the population to join the public consultation that began this Monday on the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of Children and Adolescents that the country will present to the Organization of Nations United (UN).

The start of the consultation was formalized by the executive secretary of the National Human Rights Council, Larry Davoe, in order to receive the contributions of the various actors in the country, especially children and adolescents:

Initiates the public consultation that will allow the preparation of the Country Report on the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of Boys and Girls, which we will present to the UN. We must keep the protection of children and adolescents as an absolute priority. Let’s participate!” expressed Arreaza on Twitter.

This consultation will allow the preparation of the national report on the implementation of the convention in Venezuela, as a guarantee of the Human Rights of children and adolescents, as ratified Davoe on the social network.

Those who wish to participate may enter the following link: https://consejoderechoshumanos.gob.ve/consulta-cdn/, in which is available the questionnaire in this regard.

The questionnaire investigates the opinion on the most important measures adopted by the Venezuelan State in recent years to advance the human rights of the aforementioned sector of the population; what are the main challenges in terms of comprehensive protection of the human rights of children and adolescents; the priorities to be adopted and the impact of the blockade imposed by the United States Government on the progressive development of these guarantees, among other aspects.
