Ramírez: Despite any accusation, we have worked with courage and honor in defense of Venezuela

The Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the United Nations (UN), Rafael Ramírez, affirmed that Venezuela’s strengthened foreign policy is one of the most important legacies of Commander Hugo Chávez Frías.
“He worked very hard to create and stimulate a new architecture of a multipolar, Pluri-polar world, and through this management we have demonstrated the correctness of our approaches.”
The Venezuelan Ambassador to the UN said that the country has strengthened its strategic relations with the People’s Republic of China, the Russian Federation, Africa, Asia, as well as with the Latin American and Caribbean region.
“I feel happy because whenever I sit in that seat at the Security Council, I am very aware of what Chavez would have done, what he would have said, and what our highest national interests are. We have worked, despite any accusation, with courage and honor in defense of the Bolivarian Republic and our Homeland. “
