Rodriguez: In the OAS was demonstrated breach of rules by Almagro

Delcy Rodríguez, Chancellor of the Republic, during a meeting with President Nicolas Maduro offered the country a balance of the 46th General Assembly of the Organization of American States, OAS where 19 nations voted in favor of Venezuela and the respect for the rules of the organization.
She noted that the nations that make the body were impacted by the incessant disrespect of Luis Almagro, Secretary General of the OAS, against President Maduro, besides the constant breach of the rules and seeking to destabilize democracy in Venezuela.
“Almagro is promoting a coup d’ etat from this organization, and that was demonstrated, and with the rules in hand we were able to prove its non-compliance”, and therefore the OAS determined to warn the Secretary General” said the Chancellor.
The Minister also stressed that the Presidential system was vindicated, by acknowledging Nicolas Maduro as a Head of State and Government, and not Assemblyman Henry Ramos Allup.
“It was a historic moment, because it begins to curb the actions outside the law and the Inter-American law, this means that the principles of the States must be respected,” she added.
Regarding the meeting had with the Secretary of State, John Kerry, Rodriguez said that was ratified the need for a diplomatic channel to resolve differences.
“At that meeting we were able to clarify issues on the bilateral agenda, and tear down media matrixes regarding Venezuela”.
