The amount of 10 million dollars was allocated to the Communal Bank fund, in order to start operations and the delivery of financing to ventures, projects, jobs and economic activities in the Communes, as reported the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro.
In a loving act, celebrated together with the people, in the vicinity of Miraflores Palace, for the 36 years of the Popular Anti-Imperialist Rebellion of February 27, 1989, the head of State recalled that there is already an experience related to communal banks, however, – he said – with the criminal sanctions, in the first stage of suffering of the economic war, these instances came to nothing.
However, the Bolivarian leader said that the purpose, this time, is “to relaunch a plan for several communal banks in the Communes and Communal Circuits, where there is more electoral participation on April 27.”
He explained that where there is more participation from the people, a good resource will be injected so that the Communal Bank begins to operate and finance:
“That is why we are going to provide, the equivalent in bolivars, of 10 million dollars for the Communal Bank fund so that they can start with money,” he said after making the announcement and addressing, specifically, the Minister for Communes, Ángel Prado; and the Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodríguez, and in the middle of the crowd he recalled: “The Communal Banks, a creation of Commander Chávez (…) we are his successors and the builders of his legacy, together with the people.”
Intra-communal economic development:
In this line, the national leader highlighted the importance of intra-communal economic development in the Communes and explained that from this moment on, the leaders, the spokesmen and women, who are the ones who revive this idea of the Communal Banks, will draw up a regulation to know:
How does the Communal Bank work? How would the resources be received? How would the resources be distributed? How will the accountability be carried out in the community? All of this, so that people can start their productive activity.
The head of State did not hesitate to emphasize that this dynamic will generate work, product, economic activity and employment.
“The economy of the community, of the neighborhood, of urbanism, self-sustaining, we are in the same spirit, on the same line, on the right side of history,” said the national dignitary.
