Deputies of the National Assembly (AN), debated the Plan of the Seven Transformations (7T) with workers from different sectors, in the activity, it was recalled that the objective of the Government Plan, promoted by the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros; is to seek to transform Venezuela with economic and social policies built from the popular bases.
In this sense, parliamentarian Vanesa Montero, detailed that through a consultation carried out in the national territory by the Social Production and Work Network of the Somos Venezuela Movement, it was possible to learn that education stands out as one of the priority aspects of Venezuelan society.
Likewise, the issue of entrepreneurship and the strength of the country’s working class also had an important weight in the consultation as points that should be addressed with priority in the Venezuelan people: “Therefore, these requests must be answered”, she said.
Montero asked the country’s workers to present proposals regarding the policies that must be addressed for this sector, with the purpose of raising them before the corresponding authorities in demand of a solution.
She indicated that this would generate a document that the Somos Venezuela Movement would present to the Ministry of People’s Power for the Social Process of Labor with the intention of contributing to the solution of problems in this area in a collective manner.
Contributions to the Plan de la Patria:
For his part, Deputy Oliver Rivas, pointed out that this meeting with the workers allowed them to learn about the progress for 2024 in the labor struggles together with the revolutionary process for the recovery of the country. It also had the objective of requesting contributions from this sector that contribute to the Plan de la Patria (Homeland Plan), based on the seven transformations (7T).
In the event participated workers from the state bodies privatized in the 90s, as well as those who were unfairly fired by Antonio Ledezma when he was mayor. Likewise, active workers from the National Institute of Nutrition, the Tenants Movement, and different sectors of the working class.
Linkage of proposals:
For her part, Deputy Luz Coromoto Chacón described as vitally important the contributions presented by the workers for the 7T Plan focused on this sector, where they point out their needs according to the characterization of each one.
She explained that among the proposals presented there are some that can be linked in the labor field: «For example, what refers to social security for older adults at work, as well as the problems that people have in entering the labor market once they turn 50 years of age.»
She considers it necessary to direct this type of tasks in all areas, so that President Nicolás Maduro echoes the call he made to the people to transform the Venezuelan State and can lead government policies, both in this sector and in others.
