The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, highlighted the importance of consolidating the Josefa Joaquina Sánchez Great Movement of Movements in every space of the national territory, in a message addressed to the National Meeting of said Movement, organized at the Venezuelan School of Planning in Caracas.
The Head of State called on the women who make up the Movement to multiply the organization in the communal circuits, communal councils, work and study centers:
“We must continue planning details, the development of the Great Josefa Joaquina Sánchez Movement, to take it with her image, her symbol, her thought, her spiritual, historical force to each of the communal circuits, to each of the communal councils of the territory, to all the work centers, to all the study centers. To multiply, grow and the Great Mission Women Venezuela to meet its function, vertex by vertex. Until victory always, let’s go!» said the first national leader.
For her part, Gabriela Jiménez Ramírez, vice president for the Science, Technology, Education and Health sector, highlighted the importance of the organization of women in the different sectors of the country and the impact of science on social transformation:
«I want to thank the invitation of Minister Jhoanna Carrillo, of the companions who direct everything that is the Great Mission Women Venezuela. It is a complex job to organize ourselves who are in multiple dynamics, fields, sectors, communities, regions, with life projects, with desires and dreams to materialize,» she said.
Jiménez stressed that science is a social process that must be understood as a tool for transformation: «Science is not the artifacts you have in your hand, be careful with that. Science is the power we have to interpret reality and science is a social process. Science is made by men and women and, since it is part of social processes, it is human,» she explained.
The National Meeting of the Josefa Joaquina Sánchez Movement of Movements continues with the participation of leaders of the People’s Power from all over the country, and leaders of the Bolivarian Government, consolidating strategies to strengthen the role of women in the construction of the Homeland and to guarantee the development of public policies to serve the people throughout the national territory.
