The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, received the Escudo Bolivariano (Bolivarian Shield) 2025 mobilization at the People’s Balcony of Miraflores Palace.
This mobilization was made up of men and women who support the policies issued by the Bolivarian Revolution and who commemorate, on this day, together with the Head of State, the 67th Anniversary of the Popular Rebellion of January 23, a date that remembers the civic-military union.
Regarding this date, President Maduro wrote earlier the following on his Telegram account @NicolasMaduroMoros:
“Long live January 23! Today Venezuela commemorates 67 years of the Popular Uprising of 1958, which sought to rescue true democracy and the sovereignty of the Homeland,» he stressed.
In the message he also paid tribute to the distinguished revolutionary leader Fabricio Ojeda, who with a rebellious spirit gave hope to the people on those dates:
«We remember the rebellious spirit of the great Fabricio Ojeda and the martyrs who came out in civic-military union, representing the hope of a People who today, thanks to the Revolution, is not defenseless, it is resisting with the original flags of January 23. The struggle of the People will never again be betrayed!» he stressed.
The mobilization this Thursday took place in all regions of the country and in various points of the capital city, to demonstrate to the world the fighting spirit of the Bolivarian people.
In context, this Wednesday the commander-in-chief of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), Nicolás Maduro Moros, activated the Deployment of the Escudo Bolivariano 2025, with maneuvers that demonstrate the strengthening of the FANB and its capacity to guarantee the security of the Nation.
