Will distribute new map of Venezuela with Guayana Esequiba in educational centers

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, instructed this Tuesday the distribution in the different educational centers of the new map of Venezuela, which includes Guayana Esequiba, as the 24th state in the country.

The announcement was made during the Federal Government Council, where he addressed different announcements to comply with the mandate given by the people last Sunday, December 3, in a consultative referendum.

For this, he instructed the Minister for Education, Yelitze Santaella, the sectoral vice president for Science, Technology and Education, Gabriela Jiménez, and the Minister for Planning, Ricardo Menéndez, to carry out a plan for the distribution of this map.

In addition, he instructed the Minister for Communes and Communal Councils, Jorge Arreaza, to carry out this work in the communities.

During the journey, the head of state convened the communal councils, the Local Supply and Production Committees (CLAP) and the Bolivarian Militia, called to join the distribution of the new Map of Venezuela in the communities.

It should be remembered that among the questions of the consultative referendum was the creation of a Guayana Esequiba state, whose population would also have all the programs and plans for social care.

This option, in the referendum, had the support of 9,948,430 votes (96.33%).
