The National Electoral Council (CNE) has decided to call for a permanent session in order to begin analyzing the document delivered this Friday, January 17, by the National Assembly (AN) with the proposals for the schedule of the elections that will take place in the country in 2025.
This was reported by the president of the AN, Jorge Rodríguez, in statements to the press after the delivery to the Electoral Power of the aforementioned document.
Let us remember that the proposals were drawn up in the dialogue journeys between the Special Commission for the Review of Norms and Laws on Electoral Processes of the AN and all the political factors that are active in the country.
