During the 27th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP27) being held in Egypt, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, and the United States (USA) Special Presidential Envoy for Foreign Affairs of Climate Change, John Kerry, shook hands, this as a show of diplomacy and respect between the parties.
Journalist Joshua Goodman, from the American agency Associated Press, published the video of the meeting, in which it is perceived that both authorities, between laughter and jokes, had a brief exchange of words and wished luck to each other, at the Sharm El-Sheikh International Convention Center.
