The Public Ministry requested an arrest warrant for Freddy Guevara, due to his links with extremist and paramilitary groups associated with the Colombian government.
Through a communiqué, it was informed that Freddy Guevara was detained by the Bolivarian Intelligence Service – SEBIN, and in order to advance the investigation, two prosecutors with national jurisdiction were appointed.
Freddy Guevara will be charged with the crimes of terrorism, violation of the constitutional order, conspiracy to commit a crime and treason, as reads the communiqué signed by the Attorney General of the Republic, Tareck William Saab.
