Bolivarian Government shows advances in the country’s industrial and mineral production


The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, during an inspection of the Rebar Rolling Plant of the National Steel Complex, located in La Yaguara (Caracas), made televised links on the State’s TV station VTV to verify progress in the country’s industrial and mineral production.

At CVG Aluminio Carabobo (Alucasa), in Guacara, Carabobo state, he was informed that thanks to the working class committed to the production processes, the second smelting line was reactivated, going from 800 to 1,600 tons in production of its raw material:

“Despite the difficulties, President, despite all the blockades, sanctions, the suffocation that they try to impose on our transformation sector, our productive sector, here are the patriotic workers of Carabobo from Alucasa, producing, working, giving favorable conditions to the various industries that benefit from this wonderful company», said Governor Rafael Lacava.

833 tons of Cassiterite exported:
From La Guaira state, it was known that so far this year 833 tons of the mineral cassiterite have been exported:

“Cassiterite comes mainly as tin, from a smelting process (…). When an alloy of tin and copper is made, bronze comes out and from bronze a variety that can be used for industry, alloys, welding”, explained the president of the Venezuelan Mining Corporation, José Moreno.

Likewise, the Venezuelan head of state was informed that the work to collect this mineral is carried out jointly with the Piaroa indigenous population, the private industry and the National Government.

Coal Mining Complex Inaugurated in Táchira:
This Simón Bolívar Mining and Coal Complex is part of the Strategic Plans with the private sector that the Bolivarian Government has been advancing, with the purpose of improving the economic progress of the Nation and continuing to defeat the sieges of the national and international right in economic matters.

This plant is capable of producing between 8,000 and 10,000 tons per month, in its initial phase, for export; «whose mineral is valuable, since without this mineral steel cannot be produced, a component that will be used for the construction of ships, airplanes, etc., that is, everything that has to do with steel,» as described the governor of the Andean entity, Freddy Bernal.

Development of dolomite in Sucre:
At the Cerro Negro Mine, from the town of Casanay, a televised contact was made to Sucre state, where Governor Gilberto Pinto detailed the progress in the process of exploitation and commercialization of the mineral dolomite:

“The International Commercial Company Coopercal, a public limited company, is going to present the non-metallic mining showcase for agricultural activity. We are talking about an area of ​​nine hectares, with a high content of over 85% magnesium”, he detailed.

Along these lines, he indicated: “The studies have been done and there is a high deficiency with a tiny, medium and large volume material, which will have a practical use for the ferromineral pits, but also to release the material when it is in the smelting process”.

For his part, the Head of State directed to “develop all the associations so that Venezuela can take its mining development to the maximum level”, highlighting the nation’s commitment to industrialize.

“It was the commitment of Isaías Medina Angarita to industrialize Venezuela, and it was also the commitment of Marcos Pérez Jiménez, we have to say, in fairness. A long-term commitment and it was rescued by Commander Hugo Chávez; and now we are here, with the criminal sanctions, the blockade, the persecution and the economic war. (They are) trying to do us harm, a harm which they did to us socially, in the end it turned around and they did us good, because we started working, to produce seriously and now Venezuela is not to be stopped by anyone. We are going to build a robust, productive, independent, healthy economy”, stressed the President Nicolas Maduro.
