Bolivarian Government honored international financial commitment

The Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and PDVSA successfully conclude the negotiation of REFIDOMSA, and with this the financial commitments acquired with creditors are honored, highlighting our solvency and responsibility, despite the criminal blockade of the United States.

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, through PDVSA, transferred 49 percent of the shareholding in the Refinería Dominicana de Petróleo PDV S.A. (REFIDOMSA) to the Dominican State.

The information was provided by the Sectorial Vice Presidency of the Economy, through a communiqué that explains the transaction was carried out in exchange for the receipt of the international debt that managed to reduce Venezuela’s external public debt.

This successful transfer shows the firm intention of the Bolivarian Government to comply with its obligations, which have been affected by the blockade imposed by the United States.
