Arreaza: US Secretary of State acknowledges the sanctions are against the Venezuelan people

The Minister of People’s Power for Foreign Affairs, Jorge Arreaza, manifested on Sunday that the Secretary of State of the United States, Mike Pompeo, assumes that the sanctions imposed by the US Government against Venezuela have an adverse impact on the Venezuelan people.

Through his Twitter account, the Chancellor said that Pompeo during an interview offered to journalist Greta Van Susteren of the Voice of America (VOA), acknowledged that US sanctions are against the people of Venezuela, not only for the Government of the country.

The information was published by the Minister of People’s Power for Foreign Affairs, on his account on the Twitter social network @jaarreaza.

Last Friday, October 19 through a private Mexican media the US Secretary of State made the statement and acknowledged the collaboration of the US Government with the opposition movements seeking the ousting of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.
