The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, reported that the Bolivarian Government that he presides over has activated 8 action fronts for the well-being of Venezuelan education workers through the Venezuelan Teaching guild:
“We are going for a new integral economy for all and to recover the full income of workers. And in this sense, in parallel, we have activated eight action fronts to improve the quality of work and life of the Venezuelan Teaching Guild,” he reported.
In this sense, he detailed: “The first front is the health front, the surgical, dental, ophthalmological, and medication debt, with a special functional plan.”
In second place is housing, «where we plan to deliver at least 25,000 housings directly during this period, this year and next year, increasing the goals each year.»
The other goal, he highlighted: «Is the subsidy of the transport fare to all the teachers of the country through the card that we are delivering.» As well as «the issue of food, reinforcing more than 500,000 teachers to guarantee them and their families the Magisterial Clap,» he pointed out.
The President indicated that within the plans is, in fifth place, the issue of credit policies, «through a special system that has been designed, something similar to the Cashea credit, but with more benefits so that the teachers have access to the acquisition of white goods, telephones and other priority products.»
In sixth place he pointed out that they are going to intensify the comprehensive training of teachers, giving scholarships to improve their training in a permanent process.
Continuing with the 8 fronts of action, President Maduro detailed that in seventh place, «the Bolivarian Government will activate a complete supply of uniforms, clothing and shoes, so that Venezuelan teachers can have these products in a dignified manner.»
He also pointed out that in eighth place he called “for the reinstatement of teachers to their source of work”, clarifying that in Venezuela there are more than 200,000 teachers in various public activities, calling on them, “for the love of their vocation and for the love they have for this country, to return to the classrooms in schools and high schools.»
President Maduro called on all communities in the country to collaborate with all teachers to return to their classrooms, because they are needed to strengthen the Venezuelan educational system:
«There are 8 fronts of action, which must go hand in hand with the integral recovery of life, of those who must have the greatest dignity, the teachers. All support to the teachers of Venezuela,» said President Maduro.
