The representative of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in Venezuela, Marcelo Resende said that the country is not in conditions for a humanitarian aid.
Thus was announced by the head of the Local Committees of Supply and Production (CLAP), Freddy Bernal, who offered details through his Twitter account on a work meeting held with representatives of FAO this Tuesday.
According to Bernal, the FAO representative said the “CLAP have taken a strategic dimension for Venezuela,” highlighting “the good work” that is being done by the Bolivarian Government on the issue of food.
He further stressed that in this meeting, was explained the operating mechanism and organization of the CLAP, clarifying which are the two areas of action “Supply and Production” as strategic elements to combat “the unconventional economic war” in the country.
