This Monday, April 26, a new week of flexibility of the 7 + 7 method begins

In order to contribute to the biosanitary fight that manages to bring down the coronavirus pandemic and the Brazilian variants (P.1 and P.2), the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, announced this Sunday that this Monday, April 26, a new week of Economic and Social Flexibilization will begin, framed in the 7 + 7 Plan, which will run from that date until Sunday, May 2.

During the Sunday Day of the Balance of the Fight against Covid-19, President Maduro urged Venezuelans to comply with the maximum care and prevention schemes. “Our method is 7 + 7, seven days of radical quarantine to break the contagion and transmission lines as much as possible, as much as possible.”

Likewise, the National President confirmed that the week of radical quarantine passed quite satisfactorily as regards the compliance of the Venezuelan people with health care measures.

Now we are going to 7 days of social, economic and labor flexibility, but also taking care of ourselves. We flexibilize public activity but we do not flexibilize biosafety measures. The measures are at the maximum”, he assured.

Likewise, regarding the vaccination scheme, he commented that it is part of a strategy that must continue to be reinforced. “But no vaccine of the existing ones in the world gives 100% immunity.”

Regarding this, the head of state warned that “We discovered that even if a person gets the vaccine, the disease can spread. I always say it”, as well as he recalled that immunization products are first generation and are designed to provide a first line of protection for the body and the effects of the coronavirus are much milder, even asymptomatic.
