COVID: Venezuela registers 1,526 new cases and 15 deaths

1,526 new infections were detected in the last 24 hours and 15 people died from Covid-19 in Venezuela. The information was released this Tuesday, April 6, 2021, by Vice President Delcy Rodríguez, through her account on the Twitter social network @drodriven2, in which she specified that of the total number of new cases, 2 are imported. and the rest are community contagions.

According to the report of the Presidential Commission for the Prevention and Control of Covid-19, the Capital District registered 280 community cases in 21 parishes, Carabobo state reported 199 and Miranda reported 196 cases.

8 men between 49 and 79 years old and 7 women between 58 and 88 years old, died in Caracas, Miranda, Lara, Nueva Esparta, Anzoátegui, Mérida and Zulia states. Venezuela has the second day of the week of radical quarantine, established by the National Executive, in the face of the spread of the Brazilian P1 and P2 variants, which is why the people are exhorted not to relax care and to go to a health center before the appearance of any symptoms.
