The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, through an official statement, repudiates the invalid decision of the Federal Chamber of Argentina against the Constitutional President, Nicolás Maduro Moros and the Minister of People’s Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón.

The letter was published by the Chancellor Yván Gil through his telegram channel, where he stated that this action “is nothing more than a crude retaliatory reaction, instructed by Mr. Javier Milei, based on the international “Lawfare” trend, which seeks to undermine the sovereignty of countries and delegitimize constitutional, democratic and popular processes”.

He also pointed out that “this decision lacks grounds of competence and violates the jurisdiction of the States, the immunities and privileges enjoyed by presidents and high officials”.

The official statement highlights that this provision seeks to support the progressive destruction of the international rule of law “by attempting to take over the powers of a multilateral organization” seriously affecting the entire international system; exposing the violation of international agreements and their “memory to the mockery of the international legal community and giving a final blow to its rule of law.”
