Chancellor: Bolivarian diplomacy of peace has countered media campaign

The Bolivarian diplomacy of peace, promoted 17 years ago by the Bolivarian Revolution, led by Commander Hugo Chavez, has counteracted the media campaign against Venezuela and which has been promoted by the national right wing, as said on Saturday the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Delcy Rodríguez.
“Venezuela has a position. The Bolivarian diplomacy of peace has a position at an international level, which is what has enabled to resist the powerful smear campaign against our country, the responsibility of the Venezuelan opposition, which is devoted through the entire world to disparage our homeland, to create a false picture of what is really happening”, said the Chancellor at her departure from the first plenary session of the 7th Summit of heads of State and Government of the Association of Caribbean States (AEC), held in Havana , Cuba.
In statements broadcast by Venezolana de Television, Rodriguez manifested that last Wednesday, when the Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS) met, – which supported the initiatives of dialogue between the Government of Venezuela and the opposition -, “Prevailed the international right, respect to non-interference in the internal affairs of the States, respect for the equality of States “.
On that day “Venezuela asserted, with its diplomacy and the countries that joined us, the countries of the ALBA (Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our Americas), the great Caribbean family, we asserted the state of law, which is the only instrument, which is the only weapon that have the countries that do not enjoy such powerful armies that go roaming the world subjecting and invading entire peoples”, added the diplomat.
In this regard, the minister described the interventionist position of Secretary General of the OAS, Luis Almagro, as being disrespectful against the Venezuelan President, Nicolas Maduro, as well as she stated that these actions are an evidence that Almagro “acts along the lines of the Venezuelan opposition and whatever they are dictated to do from Washington. ”
In this regard, she welcomed the special statement, agreed on Saturday by the Heads of State and Government at the AEC, in which are supported the beginnings of dialogue between the revolutionary forces and the Venezuelan opposition, promoted by the National Government and supported by the Union of South American Nations (UNASUR).
