The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, welcomed after 5:00 in the afternoon the great multitudinous march in support of peace and his Government, outside Miraflores Palace, in Caracas.
Maduro, who highlighted the massive participation in the great march that took place in Caracas and the rest of the country, said “an immense march that occupies 8 km from here – Miraflores – up to beyond the Libertador Avenue, a march full of emotion, of warriors of peace, of truth, of life. The people wants peace.”
“Venezuela is at peace, is calm, vibrant and brilliant,” said the president, assuring that despite the intimidation actions of the extreme right wing after disowning the election results, peace was achieved, and it was made clear that “no one will be able to impose scenarios of violence.”
