COVID: Venezuela registers 1,171 new cases in the last 24 hours

1,171 new infections by Covid-19, all community transmission cases, have been registered in Venezuela in the last 24 hours. Caracas is the entity with the highest number of cases, 451 active in 21 of its 22 parishes, followed by Miranda state with 346, Nueva Esparta with 95, Lara with 68 and Yaracuy with 53 cases.

17 Venezuelans died from Coronavirus, bringing the death toll to 4,363 deceases to date.

557 days after confirming the first case of Covid-19 in Venezuela, 359,633 is the total number of infections, with 343,068 patients recovered and 12,202 current active cases.

Vaccination has been accelerated in the country on the instructions of President Nicolás Maduro, which is why a call is made to those over 60 years of age and to those people who received the first dose before June 30 to go to the vaccination centers without needing a prior appointment, just with the vaccination card, and thus complete their immunization.
