The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, held the leaders of the extreme right wing Edmundo González Urrutia and María Corina Machado responsible for the fascist acts that have taken place in the country: “Mr. González Urrutia, assume your responsibility in the creation of these fascist commandos.”
The national leader called González Urrutia a coward: “You will be directly responsible, Mr. González Urrutia, and you, Mrs. Machado, and justice must come, in Venezuela there must be justice, because these things cannot happen again, that the people are attacked,” emphasized President Maduro.
From Miraflores Palace in a joint session of the National Defense Council and the Council of State, two instances of the highest level, with the participation of the five Constitutional Powers of the country, and also with the presence of the Superior General Staff, the head of State The national leader pointed to the “Libertad Sucre” criminal group as responsible for the disturbances of July 29, affirming that the armed gang, captured in the early morning hours, operated under direct orders of extremist opposition figures:
“In the early morning we managed to catch the armed gang, which works directly with María Corina Machado, as part of the new Guaidó 2.0 plan,” for which he directly held Edmundo González Urrutia and Mrs. Machado responsible for the acts of vandalism that occurred in the country: “We tell you that in Venezuela there must be justice.”

He announced that three subjects who are part of the terrorist events committed in a supermarket in Barquisimeto, Lara state, were arrested: “I have the responsibility on radio and television, as well as on social networks, to show all the vandalism, that even affected an opposition journalist.”
