President Nicolàs Maduro indicated that there are new land transport units and a total of 126 Yutong units that were recovered: «Today I am delivering to the Greater Caracas 126 transport units recovered, like new, and 100 units for a total of 226 for the Metrobús service, but I ordered 2,000 modern units at a level that you cannot even imagine, because in the next 12 months a central idea will develop, I am going to found the national Metrobús so that it reaches all cities and towns”.
President Nicolás Maduro praised the country’s working class for its resistance and courage to face the imperial economic blockade: “It is the working class that has guaranteed resistance, peace; «It is what has guaranteed that our country overcomes all the tests we have overcome.»
As the first worker president in the history of Venezuela, Maduro thanked the working class “for all the support, for all the love, for all the strength that you have given me and that you give me. Without you it would have been impossible to resist the criminal sanctions.”
He denounced the sabotage plans of the Venezuelan extreme right wing to the national electrical system, in addition to the scenarios of violence that they intend to promote in the face of the July 28 elections:
“They, the extreme right wing, want a general blackout, they believe that if they cause a blackout they will change the people’s vote, I only tell them: If you dare, if you cross the line, you will regret it for a hundred years,” he expressed.
