This Thursday the Minister for Economy and Finance, Simón Zerpa, holds a work meeting with the Deputy Director General of International Finance of the Development Bank of China, Ms. Yang Xinliang, in order to review progress of joint financing and new plans of cooperation:
“In order to review the progress of existing joint financing and new cooperation plans, especially in the energy-financial plans, minister @SimonZerpaD holds an important meeting with the delegation of the Development Bank of China”, quotes a tweet from the Ministry for Economy and Finances.
The meeting is part of the approach of the economic team of the Government of Venezuela with representatives of Chinese institutions, in order to finalize strategic alliances in financial matters with specialists and expert advisers from the People’s Republic of China.
Among the most important agreements between Venezuela and the Asian nation stands out the alliance established with Petróleos de Venezuela, S.A. (PDVSA) which is expected to develop important investment projects.
