National Council of Productive Economy enhances the country’s industrial capacity

This Friday was held in the Diego Bautista Urbaneja municipality of Anzoátegui state the National Council of Productive Economy, Eastern Region Chapter, which was led by the Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez and the governor of that state, Luis José Marcano.

Representatives of the public and private sectors met to develop strategies that boost the economy in the country. This is the maximum expression of the guidelines issued by the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro:

We are going to advance on a technological platform and that is why these economic advice is very important, because we do not take a step that is not discussed with the sectors. The effective protection rate from 2019 to 2024 went from 3.73 to 9.90 percent and this is how we must continue to increase this rate, it is the protection of the industry and enhancing all the capabilities that the national industry has, and a mechanism to promote the public purchase of what is produced in Venezuela,” said the vice president.

He stressed that the idea “is not to assemble, it is not to import, but to produce in Venezuela, the country has everything to produce everything, and a direct instruction from the president is that the products of basic industries have to go to the national industry and secondary to the export engine for the development of our industry.”

He added that new paths are being opened with the BRICS, “because it is already a leader in the world economically speaking and where Venezuela is going to enter, and it is a leader that talks about creating currencies, digital payment platforms, compensation in national currencies, “Looking for ways to free the world, so that commercial transactions have a financial expression that is not subject to blackmail.”

He added that the National Council of Productive Economy is another space for national unity and rejection of the Unilateral Coercive Measures that have affected all of Venezuela “because criminal sanctions do not distinguish,” while he reported that oil production advances every day with the production of more than 927,000 barrels of oil per day.

Likewise, he assured that one of the aspects of Venezuela’s new economic model is to get rid of oil revenues. Finally, she highlighted that national production increased 97 percent.
