President Maduro defends dialogue and respect for the Barbados Agreements

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, emphasized his firm commitment to defending dialogue to resolve any situation among everyone, and thus establish peace, justice and understanding; He also reiterated respect for the Barbados Agreements.

After speaking with the president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez, in the sixth edition of the “Maduro podcast”, and with the first combatant woman, Cilia Flores, called to maintain peace in the country, despite the actions of the extreme right wing, which continues in the pretension to destroy the Venezuelan State.

In that sense, Rodríguez indicated that the Barbados Agreements, signed by the representation of the opposition led by Gerardo Blyde, have been violated, by continuing with their destabilizing and coup plotting plans, referring to the five conspiracies denounced by the president of the Bolivarian Republic. from Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro:

Their masks fell off and they are breaking the Barbados agreement (…) no one of them dare to support the investigations even though the masterminds have confessed,” added the head of state.

Rodríguez mentioned the second agreement violated by the Venezuelan opposition, which was regarding the electoral processes held in the country “without external interference, with respect for the citizens, the electoral authority, the political actors, the constitution and the laws of the country.”.

Another of the agreements, also violated by the opposition, refers to the defense of the national territory and defense of the interests of Venezuela on the territory of Guayana Esequiba, to which the head of state added “They came out to support Guyana, to Exxon Mobil, they kicked out the agreement for the defense of Essequibo, a sacred cause for all Venezuelans.”

The first combatant, Cilia Flores, highlighted that the Venezuelan Government has respected each of the agreements, for its part, and that said documents were validated by the public powers of the State:

Venezuela will continue onward, in peace, with effort, in an integral recovery, and we will continue with something vital in our life, which is dialogue, social dialogue, listening first to our people and with all sectors of the country,” concluded President Maduro.
