During the presentation of the “Con Maduro+” program, in its 48th edition, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, assured that what comes after July 28, with the popular victory, “are 50 more years of peace, stability, and growth of the nation.”
The head of state predicted “more prosperity” for the country: he referred that he is blessed by the people of Zulia state, where he shared with the grassroots structures of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), and instructed the organization of the 1×10 electoral system to achieve an extraordinary victory in the elections on July 28.
He recalled that on this day, 20 years have passed since Commander Hugo Chávez called on the people to go to the referendum, which the opposition intended to become a revoking one, and demonstrated that «good is above evil,» by emphasizing that “The Maisanta National Campaign helped Florentino defeat the devil.”
President Maduro stated that, of all the electoral campaigns, Maisanta is so far the most creative: “Then were said the same things that are said now against the Revolution, and we went with faith, with tranquility, with patience, and then we saw the results, there was growth, a greening, the people entrusted Commander Hugo Chávez with their support and he governed for 10 more years at the service of the People’s Power.”
The national leader welcomed the month of June and highlighted that it is the month of the homeland, the month of Carabobo, the month of the drums of San Juan and the month of the beating of the drums of peace. However, he stated that May was unforgettable, meeting with the people in the streets and it was the month of the social counteroffensive to reinvigorate the 1 × 10 system of the Good Government and the Military Community Brigades for Education and Health.
