“I have asked for emphasis to be placed on political dialogue, reconciliation, coexistence and inclusion in the country’s economy. I have also asked for the comptroller function of the National Assembly to be taken very seriously,” stressed on Monday the Constitutional President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro.
During a meeting with the elected deputies of the Great Patriotic Pole (GPP), on the eve of the installation of the new National Assembly, the Head of State emphasized that Tuesday, January 5, “at 11 am we are doing the installation formal of the new National Assembly ».
The elected deputy Diosdado Cabello Rondón presented the directive proposal for the new AN, which will be composed of Jorge Rodríguez as president, Iris Varela as first vice president, Didalco Bolivar as second vice president, Rosalba Gil as Secretary and Inti Inojosa as under secretary.
“We all have a great commitment, this is not just for the directive, it is the work of all the deputies that we are here, the worst thing we can do is turn our backs on the people, we must stand by the side of the people”, highlighted Diosdado Cabello.
Jorge Rodríguez also shared some words, and reminded the deputies that they have “a great responsibility granted by the people on December 6; the people told us that we must rescue that power that has been so attacked during these last 5 years”.
For his part, President Nicolás Maduro, proposed Diosdado Cabello as head of the GPP parliamentary bloc of the 256 GPP deputies that make up a historic bloc.
“The Carabobo 200 Plan is going to rule this year, I have asked that emphasis be placed on the economy, in addition to political dialogue and reconciliation. They must rescue the comptrolling functions and the interpellation of officials”, emphasized the dignitary.
He also stressed the importance of “the Homeland Bloc appointing the most qualified to direct the commissions of the National Assembly.”
He also recalled the call of deputy Didalco Bolívar to summon the entire Venezuelan society to a great national dialogue, and that the legislative body functions as a meeting and debate point within Venezuelan politics.
Finally, he announced that as it is established in the Constitution, the longest-serving deputy, Fernando Soto Rojas, will be the one who gives the historical balance and acts as head of debate and provisional secretary in the installation of the new National Assembly.
