President Maduro acknowledges hard work of the Bricomiles

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, acknowledged this Wednesday the hard work carried out daily by the Military Community Brigades for Education and Health (Bricomiles) to care for the people, almost two years after their creation.

In his official account on the X social network, the head of state noted: “In these years of difficulties we created methods that helped us respond to the demands of the people, one of them was the Military Community Brigades for Education and Health, which were born to stay. So there much left to do yet? We know! But with the perfect civil-military union we will achieve the goal.”

The Military Community Brigades for Education and Health (Bricomiles) are a social program of the national government created in June 2022, with the objective of strengthening the civil-military union and promoting citizen participation in solving community problems.

The Bricomiles are made up of volunteers from the communities, the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) and state bodies. Their work focuses on the recovery and maintenance of public spaces, emergency response and the provision of social services.

These brigades contribute to improve the quality of life of Venezuelans, ensuring that educational and health spaces are in optimal conditions for learning and medical care.
