“Today, May 8, 2024, the Great Mission Grandfathers and Grandmothers of the Homeland is born, to embrace all grandparents, grandmothers, and elder adults; support them, accompany them and rebuild the social security that Venezuela needs in the principles of equality, justice, solidarity, love and Socialism. In the principles of the Homeland!”, He summarized as he proceeded to launch the new socialist program.
After announcing the good news, the national leader made the proposal, which was approved, so that this great Socialist Mission has territorial support and a base of leadership and popular strength in the Communes and Communal Councils. “I want the more than 49,000 Communal Councils in the territory, the 4,300 Communes, for you to be in charge of carrying out the plans, the four (4) vertices and the actions of this Great Mission of Grandfathers and Grandmothers of the Homeland,” he explained.
He said that starting today, the popular spokespersons will be “the owners, the bosses, the leaders of this Great Mission,” who, from the territory, will determine the number of grandparents, older adults in each community, who need the support of the Great Mission and immediate support in health, food, income, housing, and in their integral life.
