The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, reopened the Las Brisas Comprehensive Diagnostic Center (CDI), located in Zone 4 – Brisas de Charallave, Cristóbal Rojas municipality, to continue guaranteeing the quality of health to forty communities in this town, in which are registered 120 Communal Councils.
In this medical care center, all areas were rehabilitated, both internal and external, including: lighting, air conditioning, waterproofing, equipment provision and digitalization of the same, to strengthen the entire Integral Community Health Area (ASIC), which serves more than 3,000 inhabitants per month, from the Sabaneta, Charallave, Santa Teresa, Cua, Ocumare and San Casimiro sectors.
To date, the Las Brisas CDI offers consultation, endoscopy, hospitalization, intensive care, life support, ultrasound and laboratory services, and, after this reopening, X-ray, ophthalmology and vaccination services have been added.
Continuing to optimize health infrastructures such as these, today reaffirms the Cuba-Venezuela Agreement, to pay tribute, increasingly, to the union of both peoples; a flag raised by commanders Hugo Chávez and Fidel Castro, leaderships that gave way to the creation of Barrio Adentro and has given way to an army of white coats from both nations at the disposal of the Venezuelan people.
At the Las Brisas CDI, the Venezuelan head of state was accompanied by the First Combatant Woman of the Republic, Cilia Flores; the Sole Health Authority of the Cristóbal Rojas municipality, Angélica Rodríguez; as well as members of the Executive Cabinet, among them, the Minister of the Office of the Presidency, Ánibal Coronado; Minister of Science and Technology, Gabriela Jiménez; Minister of People’s Power for Health, Magaly Gutiérrez; and Freddy Ñáñez, Minister of Communication and Information.
