The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted the strengthening the digital economy has been experiencing in Venezuela, in the face of the challenges of the unilateral coercive measures imposed by the Government of the United States (US):
“We have made considerable advances in the digital economy and a good part of the response we gave to the sanctions, to the economic war to stabilize the economy and to initiate growth was that we advanced in digital Venezuela. So the fourth vertex of Venezuela towards digital transformation is a priority of the effort that we are going to make from the Great Mission of Science, Innovation and Technology,” he said.
From the Institute of Advanced Studies (IDEA), in Sartenejas, Miranda state, the National President, Humberto Fernández Morán, explained the five vertices that converge in the new Great Mission of Science, Innovation and Technology.
