President Nicolás Maduro supports the call for dialogue and calls for “Elections Now”

The Head of State, Nicolás Maduro Moros, expressed his full support for the call for national dialogue made by the Legislative Branch this Tuesday, January 30. Through his official account on the “X” social network, @NicolasMaduro, the President pointed out that this call translates into a “broad and inclusive dialogue to establish the 2024 electoral schedule.”

Likewise, President Maduro affirmed that the Bolivarian Revolution is a guarantee of peace in Venezuela and noted that it is time to establish “elections now.”

The Dignitary also expressed his rejection of “the gringo threats against Venezuela.”

Previously, during his “Con Maduro+” weekly program, he repudiated recent statements by far-right spokesmen who threaten to ask for more sanctions if their whims are not met.

Along these lines, Maduro was emphatic in saying that the unilateral coercive measures imposed by the United States on Venezuela are illegal and he does not hesitate to describe them as “an economic genocide” that affects the entire population.

During the ordinary session of the National Assembly held this Tuesday, the president of Parliament, Jorge Rodríguez, urged all Venezuelans to attend the National Electoral Council (CNE) next Monday, February 5, to propose a date on which they will be held. the elections scheduled for this year.

The Legislative Branch unanimously approved an agreement in which any form of ultimatum by the United States against the sovereignty and integrity of Venezuela is rejected.
