Jorge Rodríguez: Law against Fascism will serve to protect humanity

The president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez, during the ordinary session of the parliamentary entity, declared that the Law bill against Fascism, Neofascism and Similar Expressions, will serve as a statute to safeguard and protect humanity, at the same time that it will guarantee the full freedom of Venezuelan citizens.

In this sense, the deputy assured that, when this legislation is approved, it will allow the persecution and arrest of those who commit “the heavy crime of discriminating against others”, at the same time that it will allow to give a follow-up and response before the law to all cases of discrimination that may be present in the territory: racial, homophobic and ideological. This, for the benefit of a free and diverse people of autonomous men and women:

This is a bill for those who incur the serious crime of discriminating, because of their skin color, because of their choice of gender, because of their political ideology, and will be deeply punished by the authorities of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela,” said Rodríguez during his intervention.
