Installed 17 camps in border areas to receive nationals returning to the country

The Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, reported that there have been prepared 17 camps at the Integral Social Assistance Points (PASI) in border areas of Venezuela to receive nationals returning to their homeland.

From Miraflores Palace, Rodríguez explained that it is the sanitary cord to protect all of Venezuela, while continuing to serve the compatriots who are returning.

All this in compliance with the instruction issued by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, who ordered that the nationals who return to the country must comply with the health protocols for screening and care of COVID-19 in the bordering territories where they entered through.

“Everything is ready, ready to receive our compatriots, in conditions that guarantee their health, appropriate medical care and free alimentation”.

This Thursday the number of COVID-19 infections in Venezuela increased to 1,327, the majority of cases are imported from Colombia and Brazil, for which the Bolivarian Government has been emphasizing all the prevention protocols established on the border line must be respected.
