President Maduro congratulates nurses on their day

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, published a message this Tuesday on social networks to congratulate the nurses for their tireless work, on the occasion of celebrating their day.

Nurse’s Day is celebrated every May 12. That day was chosen to commemorate the birth of Florence Nightingale, considered the creator of modern nursing, says digital media.
This distinguished woman was born in the city of Florence on May 12, 1820, and died in London on August 13, 1910.
