President Maduro: China has not left Venezuela alone in times of difficulty


On Thursday, the Venezuelan Head of State, Nicolás Maduro, welcomed a delegation from the National Petroleum Corporation of China (CNPC), at Miraflores Palace in Caracas, in order to sign co-operation agreements on energy.
“I have asked CNPC President Wang Yilin to convey to President Xi Jinping our appreciation for all the support he has given to Venezuela in these difficult years, 2014, 2015 and especially in 2016,” said President Maduro .
“Our older sister China has not left Venezuela alone in times of difficulty, and our partnership based on mutual benefit, shared profit, work, sacrifice, shared effort, is giving very good results.”
The Venezuelan Head of State said that: “Several years of a strategic partnership and a historic alliance with China have elapsed. A strategic partnership in all fields of economics, finance, energy, oil, culture, society, of a civilizing world view. ”
The National President said that “another world has been born, and China is going ahead in that other world, and Venezuela is at the forefront as well.”
