Penitentiary centers intervened by “Operation Gran Cacique Guaicaipuro 2023” were part of destabilizing plans

Based on “special operations”, orchestrated from the Judicial Confinement Center of Aragua State (Tocorón), the Judicial Confinement Center of Carabobo State (Tocuyito) and the José Antonio Anzoátegui Judicial Confinement Center (Puente Ayala), was intended to distribute weapons to criminal groups “to fill the country with violence,” as denounced the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.

During the “Con Maduro+” program, quoting information from national and international sources, he pointed out that the epicenter of the attack would be “key cities, key regions” through actions carried out “by criminal groups paid, well paid, with dollars.”

“A lot of information that we handle – with national and international sources – tells us that these centers were involved in the plan in order to do rioting, to fill the country with violence with special operations that they were going to make so that all those weapons reached crime and with criminal groups well-paid, with dollars,” he stressed.

Precisely, the Venezuelan president indicated that the “army of long weapons for rioting” would be found within the penitentiary centers intervened with the Operation Gran Cacique Guaicaipuro, which this Monday was deployed at the José Antonio Anzoátegui Judicial Confinement Center, located in Barcelona (Anzoategui State), and which led to the transfer of 1,511 prisoners to other prisons temporarily:

“If we add all the long weapons we have obtained, we exceed 600 long weapons. An army of long weapons in order to do rioting,” he pointed out.

In reference to the scope of Operation Gran Cacique Guaicaipuro, he stressed that “it is advancing with total success” in its mission “to gain more and more spaces of security and to combat sources infected of violence.”

“Once Tocorón was liberated, Tocorón is over; once Tocuyito was liberated, Tocuyito is over, and today Puente Ayala (was) liberated in record time, Puente Ayala is over. Total success of Operation Gran Cacique Guaicaipuro to guarantee more and more spaces of security and tranquility for the people; and to combat (those) sources infected of violence, of crimes,” he stated, while reiterating that “we will continue to advance to establish security and protection.”

Puente Ayala is the third prison intervened by Operation Gran Cacique Guaicaipuro, after the Aragua Judicial Confinement Center (September 20) and the Carabobo Judicial Confinement Center (October 18). In the last two, security officials seized war material (long weapons, ammunition and explosive devices).
