Ultra-right wing intends to use electoral processes to destabilize

The Venezuelan extreme right wing “is trying to mount a new move”, similar to the one carried out in 2002 with Pedro Carmona Estanga and in 2019 with Juan Guaidó, in order to take advantage of the upcoming electoral process “and to disrupt national life”, denounced the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.

During the “Con Maduro+” program, he pointed out that the extreme right wing “comes with a single speech: hatred, intolerance, revenge” that it tried to disguise itself this Sunday with a “show”, expressed in the primary elections.

Defining the process as the “chronicle of an announced fraud,” the Venezuelan president pointed out that it is “regrettable” that the opposition leadership “makes fun of an important group” that accompanied them in the internal elections, whose first bulletin returned 601,110 voters:

They have always disrespected their followers, which is why they have fewer and fewer followers. They always make fun of them, they took them to adventures of violence and then abandoned them; They took them to coups d’état, to Guaidó’s adventure, they promised them heaven and paradise. They made fun of the trust they were given,” he stated.

In this sense, he indicated that “the capabilities of the extremist sector of the opposition to lie, manipulate and commit fraud” are already known, one of its expressions being “plans to blackmail the country, to request sanctions, to request invasions.”

They have disrespected you, they are deceiving you, they are lying to you. Enough of the manipulators,” he stated.
