Venezuela rejects US coercive measures against superintendent of Sunacrip

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela rejected on Monday the coercive measures imposed by the United States government against the superintendent of the National Superintendence of Cryptoassets and Related Activities (Sunacrip), Joselit Ramírez Camacho.

Through a statement, published by the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Jorge Arreaza, on his account on the Twitter social network; Venezuela points out that «this new attack clearly responds to the intention to directly affect the economic policies with which the Venezuelan people face the criminal blockade promoted by the White House fascist government through illegal sanctions».

Earlier, the U.S. Department of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) reported that the U.S. government offered a $ 5 million reward for the whereabouts of Ramírez Camacho, falsely claiming links to drug trafficking.

With this action, the head of Sunacrip would join the list of the most wanted by the US, falsely accused of this crime. A similar action occurred last April, when they accused the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, for whom were offered $ 15 million.

«The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela strongly rejects the new aggression by the United States government that aims to launch a persecution against Joselit de la Trinidad Ramírez Camacho, a distinguished compatriot, national Superintendent of Cryptoassets and Related Activities (Sunacrip), based on unfounded accusations, extracted from a mediocre Hollywood script. This new attack clearly responds to the intention to directly affect the economic policies with which the Venezuelan people face the criminal blockade promoted from the fascist White House government through illegal sanctions.

It is evident, amidst the largest mass protests the US has suffered in recent decades and in the midst of its deepest humanitarian crisis in a century, which has claimed more than 100 lives the government, how Donald Trump seeks to distract the attention of the public opinion reinforcing his illegal and coercive practices against Venezuela, with the perverse objective of hindering the right to peace and the development of Venezuelan society.

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela denounces to the international community this system of 5 attacks by the Donald Trump government against the security and integrity of Venezuelan institutions and their officials which, far from intimidating the Venezuelan state, does nothing but renew its commitment to defend with greater zeal for the sovereignty of its people in the face of the aggressions of an outlaw government such as that of Donald Trump».
