Venezuela is the gateway to the Route and the Strip in South America and the Caribbean to develop infrastructure, transportation, trade and investments with China, stated the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro:
“We have told President Xi Jinping that Venezuela is the gateway to the Route and the Strip, which was signed in September 2018. So, we are moving towards a stronger, more sustainable and balanced global development,” said the head of State during an international press conference.
He indicated that the 31 agreements signed between China and Venezuela address various development issues related to energy, finance, industry, trade, agriculture, tourism, education, air transportation, culture, fishing and aquaculture, science and technology, among others:
“These agreements are lost from sight, it has been a great tour (…) we are leaving happy and I send greetings to the people of Latin America and the Caribbean,” said President Nicolás Maduro.
